cleansing RECIPES


Experiment with your senses and make a rainbow-coloured hue of yummy food to eat:make your food visually appealing & play with colours, textures, tastes, smells and even sounds. Use organic wherever possible.

 We will keep adding new recipes as we test them out and send us any ideas that you have found to be delicious & cleansing!

Make your own Vitamin Water

fill a glass jug with crystal clean water (why not energise it with crystals or magnetise it withmagnets)and add any of the following:

  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Hibiscus flowers, dried
  • Rosehips, dried
  • Lemon or lime pieces
  • Orange pieces (try blood red orange)
  • Apple pieces
  • Fresh sprigs of mint
  • Cucumber (optional)


Liver booster detox juice: pop everything in a juicer and drink immediately

  • 1 beetroot
  • 3 cm of ginger root whole
  • 1 piece of turmeric
  • 5 celery sticks (great for the lymphatic system)
  • 6 carrots
  • 2 apples (or a pear)
  • 1 whole lime (including the zest) or lemon
  • 3 sprigs of mint
  • a handle of fresh parsley

Daily Wild Spring Green Soup Recipe (perfect for this time of year to nourish & cleanse)

  • Chop an onion and/or leek finely and sauté in olive oil with fresh garlic (health food store) and ginger and bay leaves and fresh turmeric
  • Add 1 -2 medium potatoes OR 1 courgette
  • Add boiling water and vegetable stock
  • Add any green vegetables that you can find including white radish ("little ginseng" in China. The old saying goes that "when radishes come onto the market, nobody will go to the pharmacies.") such as broccoli, spinach, watercress, kale
  • Add fresh spring greens – nettles, mustard leaves, rocket, dandelion leaves (if you have nettles, use gloves as it will sting!)
  • Cook for 20 minutes
  • Puree and serve with sprouting greens, or sesame seeds or milk thistle and a drizzle of olive oil
